AuthenTec to Showcase Latest in Fingerprint Biometrics

Biometric fingerprint sensor solutions company AuthenTec will exhibit the latest sensors and biometrically enabled devices designed for consumer use at CES 2007. AuthenTec's sensors feature TruePrint technology, which they claim is the only solution in production that reads fingerprints below the surface of the skin.

The company will also exhibit a wide range of cutting-edge biometrically-enabled PC applications for the consumer including notebooks, tablets and peripherals from leading manufactures including Microsoft, HP and Lenovo. AuthenTec sensors are used to add security and convenience to 150 different models of PCs, including those made by seven of the world's top 10 PC manufacturers.

AuthenTec fingerprint sensors will also be showcased and demonstrated in a range of partner booths throughout CES, including Microsoft, HP, AMD, and others.
