Including a USB-IF certified wireless host controller interface (WHCI) and host wire adapter (HWA) host controllers as well as native and device wire adapter (DWA) devices, Realtek Semiconductor offers a complete Wireless USB product portfolio that’s unique in the industry. The company also has multiple single-chip CMOS UWB physical-layer (PHY) solutions, including one that’s WiMedia-approved for operation in both band groups 1 and 3 (3.168 to 4.752 GHz and 6.336 to 7.92 GHz), providing worldwide coverage.

Realtek’s solutions have received regulatory approval in the U.S., Japan, and the E.U. The company also offers multiple reference platforms, including a Wireless USB-to-VGA adapter enabling wireless monitors and wireless projector dongles; a wireless dock enabling PC docking stations and TV docks; a secure digital input/output (SDIO) platform, enabling digital still camera applications; a DWA platform enabling wireless hubs; an HWA platform enabling PC dongles; and a WHCI half-minicard enabling integrated PC hosts.
