In addition to the chipset and processor, the controller supports up to 4 GB of 667-MHz DDR2 memory, providing the performance necessary for high-end test-and-measurement applications. Other features include a dual Gigabit Ethernet port configuration that allows the use of one GbE port for LAN connectivity and the other port for a determinative bandwidth and latency connection with LXI instruments. Available in May, price for the PXI-3950 is $3,650.
