According to Stantum Inc., the SMK-15.4 is the first commercially available and out of- the-box development kit that allows users to build unlimited multitouch user-interfaces for future products or research projects. The kit provides all the necessary components for creating a high performance, one-stop multi-touch system. These include a widescreen TFT LCD, PMatrix high resolution multi-touch sensor, PMatrix electronic controller with patented scanning and filtering technology, and all necessary drivers and first level API The multi-touch 15-in. 4 wide screen WXGA display delivers a resolution of 1,280 x 800 with a touch repositioning accuracy of less than 4 pixels (< 0.5 mm).
