phase and magnitude characterization of extremely wideband signals.
Few U.S. EE Schools Teaching Environmental
Design Requirements By Ron Schneiderman, Contributing Editor
How many EE schools in the U.S. cover the environmental legislation
coming out of the European Union (EU), China, and other major world
markets that will impact the design of electronic products? Not many,
according to an informal and random survey of U.S. engineering schools

In-Circuit Programming Switch Simplifies
Operation Of Programmable Devices By Eric Schlaepfer, Maxim Integrated Products
Many devices require programming through a serial bus, such as
I2C. The programming can be done during final test, after the
circuit board has been assembled. In many cases, the pins used for
programming can then be utilized for something else during normal
operation. In fact, the bus itself can also be used for another
function.

my pass through the city of brotherly love a little.
Bill Ferguson, Motorola's senior RFID technical architect, discusses
some of Motorola's RFID solutions. These enable a new level of
efficiency by providing greater visibility into inventory as it moves
across the supply chain. The XR450 is an industrial-class, fixed RFID
reader featuring both mono-static and bi-static antenna operation
capability, and is designed for a wide range of business-critical,
dense-reader deployments. The RD5000 Mobile RFID Reader extends the
reach of your RFID network so you can achieve a new level of visibility
into inventory and assets. The MC9090-G RFID Handheld Mobile Computer is
a rugged RFID reader, writer, and bar code scanner, all in a single
device.
