  Alain Raynaud, technology center director for Emulation and Verification Engineering (EVE) of San Jose, Calif., and Palaiseau, France, has been involved with high technology for more than 10 years. Prior to joining EVE, he was in charge of advanced verification methodologies at Tensilica Inc. He also holds two patents on accelerated verification, awarded to him while he was at the Meta Systems Emulation Division of Mentor Graphics. Raynaud holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and from Supelec, France.
