Simon Davidmann

Simon Davidmann is president and chief executive officer of Imperas Inc. Before founding Imperas, he was a vice president at Synopsys following its successful acquisition of Co-Design Automation, the developer of SystemVerilog. Before founding Co-Design, Davidmann was an executive or European general manager with five U.S.-based EDA startups including Chronologic and Ambit. Davidmann was one of the original developers of the HILO logic simulation system, co-authored the definitive book on SystemVerilog, and is a visiting Professor of Digital Systems at Queen Mary, University of London. He has bachelor of science and master of science degrees in electronic engineering from Essex University in the U.K.
