Bosch To Use Infineon RASIC For Automotive Radar
The new (third-generation Long Range Radar) automotive radar sensor system from Robert Bosch GmbH will use a chip from Infineon Technologies’ (Radar System IC) product family. Bosch developed the LRR3 for adaptive cruise control at ranges up to 250 m. It is also used for predictive radar-based safety functions such as protective brake assist systems, collision warning features, and automatic emergency braking.
