Arriving on the marketplace are op amps with 500-MHz gain bandwidth and slew rates reaching 600 V/µs. The Elantec EL810X rail-to-rail op-amp family has differential phase and differential gain of 0.005° and 0.005%, respectively. This performance is obtained with 5.6 mA of current consumption from a 5-V supply. The family also includes low-power, low-cost 200-MHz devices. Initial offerings are single op amps. Later additions will include duals, triples, and quads. Pricing in the 1000s ranges from $0.69 to $1.60 per unit.
