Designed for professional audio applications, the four-channel, 24-bit PCM4104 digital-to-analog converter (DAC) comes with a 118-dB dynamic range, −100-dB total harmonic distortion, and a sampling rate of up to 200 kHz. It uses delta-sigma technology with a multilevel modulator and switched-capacitor output filter. This architecture yields lower out-of-band noise and a high tolerance of system clock-phase jitter. The converter's digital I/O is compatible with 3.3-V logic. Pricing for the 48-lead TQFP is $7.50 in lots of 1000.
