A series of single-module, two-speed synchro-to-digital converters offers 16-bit resolution and ±0.005° accuracy. The devices convert two-speed synchro or resolver inputs of 11.8, 26, or 90 V at 400 Hz or 90 V at 60 Hz into 16-bit parallel binary outputs representing angle. Speed ratios of 1 × 10, 1 × 18, 1 × 36, 1 × 8, 1 × 16, 1 × 64, and 1 × 128 are available. The converters can track rates up to 1000°/s. Prices in production quantities are less than $595 each with delivery in four weeks after receipt of order.
