Handling a variety of precise signal-conditioning applications, the 1570 differential preamplifier functions as a differential summing preamplifier, differential variable-gain preamplifier, microphone preamplifier, or a moving-coil transducer amplifier. Notably, the device specifies an input noise of 1 nV/√Hz at 60-dB gain. Other specs include a THD+N of 0.0005% at 30 dB gain and 0.0008% at 40 dB, bandwidth of 4.2 MHz at 40 dB gain, slew rate of 53 V/μs, signal swing beyond 28.7 dBu when using ±18V supplies, and an adjustable gain from 0 to more than 60 dB. Available in a 4 mm x 4 mm QFN16 package, price is $3.19 each/1,000. THAT CORP., Milford, MA. (508) 478-9200.
