The 25-W LS25 and 35-W LS35 ac-dc single-output power supplies from TDK-Lambda provide 3.3-, 5-, 12-, 15-, 24-, 36-, and 48-V dc output voltages. They also operate with a universal ac input of 88 to 264 V ac (47 to 63 Hz) and can withstand input surges of up to 300 V ac. These enclosed devices carry the CE Mark and are certified to UL/EN/IEC60950-1 safety agency standards as well.

The units have a withstand voltage of up to 1.5-kV ac input to ground, 3-kV ac input to output, and 500-V dc output to ground. They also conform to the immunity standards of EN61000-4-X and the electromagnetic compliance/electromagnetic interference (EMC/EMI) standards of EN550011-B, EN55022-B, and FCC-Class B, which is much more stringent than Class A.

The models in the LS series meet the Power Factor and Harmonic Correction standards of EN61000-3-2 and comply with the European Union’s Restrictions on Hazardous Substances (RoHS). They also include a voltage adjustment (±10%) potentiometer, a green LED “on” indicator, and screw terminal corrections. All of the units carry a three-year warranty as well.

The convection-cooled operating temperature range is from –25°C to 70°C with deratings above 50°C. The LS25 and LS35 range from 3.1 by 2.0 by 1.1 in. to 3.9 by 3.2 by 1.4 in. and are available now. Pricing starts at $15.50 each in quantities of 100 units.
