Balancing optimal price/performance ratios for industrial applications, the CP6001-V line of 6U CompactPCI CPU boards enlist a 1.86-GHz Celeron M processor 440, Intel’s 945GM chipset, up to 4 GB of 533-MHz DDR2 RAM, and an ICH7-R IO controller hub. The 4HP single-slot boards come with all necessary industry-standard interfaces such as a serial port, VGA graphics interface, four Ethernet ports, two front USB ports, PMC, HDD, CompactFlash, and USB flash disk support. The 945GM chipset enables graphics resolutions up to 2,048 x 1,536 at 75 Hz and 2D/3D multimedia quality video. The ICH7-R I/O controller hub provides I/O capabilities including USB 2.0 and Serial ATA300. Additionally, the PMC site, USB Flash, CompactFlash socket, and an optional 2.5 inch hard disk can operate simultaneously in a single 4HP slot. Operating-system support includes Windows XP/XP Embedded and Linux. For more information and price, call KONTRON AMERICA, San Diego, CA. (888) 294-4558.
