ADC Module Mediates FPGAs And I/O

By Staff

October 08, 2008

Announced as the industry’s first FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC/VITA 57), the ADC510 a/d converter module integrates two 12-bit, 500-MHz A/D chips that interface to the FMC connector to enable an FPGA on a baseboard to directly control and receive data. It provides an onboard clock source supporting sampling rates of 300, 320, 400, and 500 Msamples/s. Users may also employ an external sample clock. Input and output triggers are on hand to enable synchronization of multiple ADC510 modules to increase input channels. For additional information, call VMETRO INC., Houston, TX. (281) 584-0728.
