Cornet Technology's Celero CVME-7448M blends PCI Express and quad 1.267-GHz Freescale PowerPC MPC6448 processors on a single 6U VXS board. The board supports a 16-lane PCI Express switch that links together the backplane and the PCI-X interfaces of the processors, as well as the two 64-bit XMC/PMC sites. There is also an on-board Gbit Ethernet switch that connects the four processors, the two XMC/PMC sites and the P0 connector.

Each processing node has 1 Mbyte of on-chip L2 cache, 256 Mbytes of SDRAM expandable to 512 Mbytes, and 128 Mbytes of flash. Node 1 has access to the front panel RS-232 and Gbit Ethernet interface. Pricing starts at $25,000. For more information, go to Cornet Technology.
