Intel plans to explore major themes at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show, including the emergence of Internet-delivered entertainment as the PC grows even cozier with the TV.

Throughout the event, Intel will highlight its in-home and on-the-go product lines and entertainment- and gaming-related partnerships that build upon the introduction of the Intel Core2 Duo processor families and the new PC multi-core era.

All of Intel's demonstrations, announcements and highlights at CES will focus on showing how the company's multi-core innovation is fueling new online services, capabilities, experiences and possibilities for consumer technology. Many of Intel's activities will be powered by Intel's premier consumer computing platforms, Intel Centrino and Intel Viiv technology.

Present at CES will be a number of Intel executives and technology experts, including Doug Busch, CTO of the Digital Health Group, featured at the panel discussion, "The Future of Consumer Electronics: Convergence with Home Health." The panel will take place from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 8, in LVCC North Hall, #N264.
