Embedded Systems Conference, San Jose, CA. - Plugging directly into a StackableUSB SBC, the USB3368 adaptor board adds eight standard type A USB ports to the system. The breakout board is RoHS compliant and operates over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range. It can connect a StackableUSB SBC directly to a PC as a host or client with additional I/O devices. The available type A USB ports are dependent upon USB3368’s position within the StackableUSB BUS. Positioned adjacent to the CPU enables all the ports to channel into the USB3368; with each removal from direct connection to the CPU, the USB3368 decreases its number of accessible ports. Price starts at $95 each.
