Expanding the company's family of ZigBee/IEEE 802.15.4 radio modules, the latest Matrix module employs the Texas Instruments CC2430 transceiver platform to provide an integrated, drop-in ZigBee radio system. Tailored for low-power networks, the module suits home and building automation, industrial control, security, and remote sensor applications. Output is configurable up to 10mW, making the module also suitable for regions where regulatory agencies limit transmission power. Measuring 23 mm x 29 mm, it integrates an antenna and an ADC allowing direct connection to analog sensors. Modules come with point-to-point and point-to-multipoint software and all Matrix modules carry FCC, IC, and CE certifications. CALIFORNIA EASTERN LABORATORIES, Santa Clara, CA. (408) 988-3500.
