5.7" TFT LCD Delivers Full VGA Resolution

By Staff

October 08, 2008

A leap over the QVGA (320 x 240) resolution common to similar displays, the PD057VT1 5.7" digital active-matrix TFT LCD panel displays graphics in full VGA (640 x 480) resolution. The module measures 144 mm x 104.6 mm x 13 mm with a 5.7" (118.4 mm x 89.6 mm) viewing area. Features include a stripe pixel configuration, an operating temperature range from -30°C to +70°C, a T-CON timing chip, white LED backlight, TTL interface, and the ability to display 262,144 colors. The T-CON timer IC allows users to display content of a lower resolution on the higher VGA resolution while minimizing image distortion when scaling from one dot matrix resolution to another.
