Chip Resistor Lives Long In Harsh Terrains

Employing the company's patented tantalum nitride thin film resistive element, its latest tantalum nitride PFC 0402 chip resistor exhibits long life and high stability in harsh environments. The component is viable for use in one or two-chip topologies in battery monitoring, voltage references, voltage conversion, voltage regulators, logic-level conversion, dc/dc converters, power supplies, and COTS applications. The PFC 0402 chip resistors feature a power rating of 50 mW and a voltage rating of 75V. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +150°C. Pricing is $0.24 each/25,000. IRC INC., Corpus Christi, TX.
