Chip Resistors Handle Up To 3 kV

Groomed for high-voltage applications in harsh environments, the HVC series chip resistors offer continuous voltage ratings up 3 kV. Available in standard 1206, 2010, and 2512 package sizes, resistance values range from 100 kOhms to 1 MegaOhms with tolerances to 0.5%, 1%, 2%, and 5%. Maximum overload voltage ranges to 4.5 kV and power ratings for the 1206, 2010, and 2512 resistors are 0.3W, 0.5W, and 1W, respectively, with voltages ratings of 1 kV, 2 kV, and 3 kV, respectively. Other features include a voltage coefficient of less than -25 ppm, temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C, and an operating temperature range from -55°C to +155°C.
