The CVCO55CXT-6250-6250 coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO) employs frequency doubling, 2X fundamental technology to boost lower phase-noise performance and trim lower harmonics. It operates at 6,250 MHz with a tuning voltage range from 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc and specifies a typical phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at a10-kHz offset. Other specs include a typical output power of 0.0 dBm into a 50-Ohm load with a supply of +8 Vdc and a typical current consumption of 25 mA. Pushing and Pulling are 1.5 MHz/V and 0.5 MHz, respectively, and second-harmonic suppression is -30 dBc typical. Available in a standard 0.5” x 0.5” package, price starts at $19.52 each in volume.
