The WF SAW filters for North American mobile phone standards feature low insertion loss (1.6 to 3 dB) in an SMD plastic package measuring just 2.5 by 2.0 by 1.15 mm. The 836.5/881.5-MHz WF617A/B for GSM850 (Tx/Rx) applications operates from −30°C to 85°C. The 881.5-MHz WF642B for GSM850 (Rx) applications functions in the −20°C to 70°C range. The 1880/1960-MHz WF627A/B for PCS (Tx) applications operates over −40°C to 85°C, while the 1960-MHz WF679B for PCS1960 (Rx) applications can go from −20°C to 70°C. Also, the 1575.42-MHz WF619H/D for GPS (Rx) applications operates from −30°C to 85°C. All are lead-free. The WF617 costs $0.45 each in 10,000-unit lots, with delivery from eight to 10 weeks.
