Interfacing printed-circuit boards, the modular SHS plug-in connectors feature a low profile to conserve board real estate and mount either in horizontal or vertical positions to enable flexible wiring. The pluggable PCB blocks are available in two- to 24-pole versions with a 5-mm pitch and current ratings up to 10A at 250V. Horizontal plugs clamp using a galvanized steel tubular screw with tin-plated brass wire protectors. Female plugs pairing with a male PVS connector are available separately. The SHS connectors range in length from 10 mm to 120 mm with heights of 10.8 mm and come in standard packs containing from 20 to 100 components depending on type. For more details, contact Dan Schuster at ALTECH CORP., Flemington, NJ. (908) 806-9400.
