Patch Antenna Receives/Transmits Two Different Bands

Groomed for GPS designs, the company's single-element patch antenna can receive and/or transmit two frequency bands in one 45-mm package. Mounting on a 63-mm ground plane, available frequencies include 1,575 MHz (GPS) to 1,615 MHz (Globalstar) and 1,575 MHz (GPS) to 1,621 MHz (Iridium). According to the company, the dual frequency patch antennas have no interference issues to design around and are available in RoHS-compliant versions.
