Operating with a wider input range from 4.5 to 14 Vdc, the 6A OKR-T/6 and 10A OKR-T/10-W12 debut as the latest additions to Okami family of non-isolated point-of-load (POL) dc/dc converters. The SIP, though-hole mounting components offer a programmable output voltage from 0.591 to 6 Vdc and industry-standard pinouts across the range. Based on a 600-kHz synchronous buck topology, the OKR-T/6 and the OKR-T/10-W12 specify efficiencies of 93% and 92% respectively and both modules are able to drive capacitive loads up to 200 µF. Other features include over-temperature and over-current protection, on/off control, and under-voltage lock out. MURATA POWER SOLUTIONS INC., Mansfield, MA. (508) 339-3000.
