The 10/100 Base-TX J20-0017 two-by-four and J20-0019 two-by-six RJ-45 modules feature enhanced power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capabilities in compliance with IEEE 802.3af standards. Both modules employ the company's patented internal InterlockBase construction in each port, which is said to allow adjacent port modules to be shared without compromising EMC compatibility. The ability to share port modules allows the distance between power and signal pins to exceed 2.54 mm, resulting in a typical high-potential rating of 2 kV maximum and 1.5 kV minimum. Operating temperature for the modules ranges from 0°C to 70°C. Prices start at $1.50 per port each/10,000. PULSE ENGINEERING INC., San Diego, CA. (858) 674-8100.
