Offering an integrated solution for ultrahigh performance Wi-Fi access points and routers, the MTM-B standalone, meta-material balanced antenna meets the requirements for single band 2.4 or 5 GHz designs as well as dual band 2.4/5 GHz devices. The component sports a small form factor of 15 mm x 14 mm, allegedly 80% smaller than currently available dipoles. As the Wi-Fi industry migrates from 2.4GHz only devices to 2.4/5GHz functionality, the dual band capability of the MTM-B meets the requirements of 2x2 and 3x3 dual concurrent chipsets where a high quality of service is required for apps such as high definition video transmission inside the house for entertainment or gaming. For more details, call RAYSPAN CORP., San Diego, CA. (858) 259-9596.
