Designed for high-speed, high-frequency switching applications, the OSSR Series solid-state relays are available in panel-mount, SIP1, and SIP2 packages and integrate a zero-crossing circuit that minimizes current and noise surges due to resistive and inductive loads. Applications range from white goods and appliances to industrial and packaging equipment, robotics, motor controls, and electric vehicles. The relays are available in three configurations: dc input/ac output with input ranging from 4 to 32 Vdc, a load current to 40A and load voltage to 480VAC; ac input/ac output with input ranging from 5 to 12 Vac, 4 to 32 Vac, and 100 to 240 Vac with a load current to 40A and load voltage to 480 Vac; and dc input/dc output with an input range of 4 to 24 Vdc with a load current to 3A and load voltage to 100 Vac. Prices range from $8 to $28 each depending on the model. OPTEK TECHNOLOGY INC., Carrollton, TX. (972) 323-2200.
