Stepping Motor/Driver System Covers Five Phases

Employing the Mechatrolink II (MLINK-II) protocol, the five-phase MLN50 stepper motor and driver network series provides full programming command functions and offers data rates up to 10 Mb/s with a maximum transmission range of 50m. Including a bracket, the system measures 120 mm x 175 mm x 45 mm. The MLN50 unit is a 100V/200V ac driver system employing the company's MPG1032 pulse-generator chip to execute functions like fast-forward positioning, interpolation feed, and home. Additional features include external input positioning with speed, acceleration and deceleration parameter setting, linear and S-shape acceleration and deceleration switching selection with onboard serial EEPROM, positioning neighborhood output, electronic gear, and soft limit output.
