The company’s Power Module Loss Simulator, now in Version 1.02, adds assistance in selecting the best power semiconductor device for three level inverter (neutral point clamp) applications. Compatible with Windows 2000/XP/VISTA, TLISIM is applicable for simulating sinusoidal output three level inverter modes of IGBT operation. It includes the functionality of Mitsubishi Average Loss Simulation software including junction-temperature and power-loss calculations. Additionally, the app displays phase-to-phase output voltages, module topology during the calculation process, and offers fast algorithms, structured I/O windows, and exportable file formats. Interested parties can download a free copy at the company’s website. POWEREX INC., Youngwood, PA. (800) 451-1415.
