Embedded Systems Conference, San Jose, CA. - Extending its reach, the LabVIEW graphical system design platform now offers an embedded module for ARM microcontrollers, targeting the ARM 7, ARM 9, and Cortex M3 MCU families. The module features LabVIEW drivers that allow users to graphically program all components of the MCU including the analog and digital I/O. It also provides desktop simulation capabilities for running programs they develop on a PC without any additional hardware. Other features include a project wizard that automates configuration and overall setup and an interrupt manager that simplifies interrupt-driven programming by setting up LabVIEW code to run when specific hardware interrupts occur.
