ESD Electronics brings CAN to PCI with its CAN-PCIe/2000 adapter. The interface supports one or two ports that comply with the ISO 11898 and CAN 2.0B standards. It provides a way for a PC to control or be part of a CAN network. Opto-isolation is standard. Software drivers are available for Windows, Linux, and QNX. They support an extensive programming interface. A free CAN monitoring and analyzing program is also provided. The CAN-PCIe/2000 costs $570.
