Offered as a replacement for 2” x 1” modules, the BEI15 series isolated, wide input bipolar DC/DC converters target high current applications in mobile and battery powered products, test equipment, and wireless designs. The modules deliver 15W of output power with efficiency levels up to 86%. The through-hole PCB-mounting components offer a choice of ±5V, ±12V, and ±15V output voltages, regulated to within ±0.25%. Wide 4:1 input voltages of either 9V to 36V with positive remote on/off polarity or 18V to 75V with negative remote on/off polarity are available. Additionally, all modules have full magnetic and optical isolation with basic protection up to 2,250 Vdc. Pricing starts at $17 in OEM quantities. MURATA POWER SOLUTIONS INC., Mansfield, MA.
