The IRS2500S PFC control IC for switch mode power supply (SMPS), LED drivers, fluorescent and HID electronic ballast applications can be configured to operate in critical conduction boost PFC or flyback configuration. It features a total harmonic distortion (THD) optimization circuit to reduce line current harmonics.
