The device integrates the company’s Digital Thermal Loop charge reduction circuit, which monitors die temperature and gradually steps down charge current to avoid thermal shutdown and claims responsibility for faster charge rates. It accepts a 4V to 13.2V input voltage range and supports programmable charge currents from 100 mA to 1A via an external resistor. Quiescent current is less than 6 ?A.
