Completing the power-train conversion to processor and memory loads in high-voltage (HV) dc-distribution data centers, the VIB0002TFJ sixteenth-brick bus converter module from Vicor delivers more than 4 kV of isolated power up to 330 W for downstream loads. In parallel eco-array configurations, 380 V to 48 V conversion is achieved at more than 90% efficiency from a 10% light load all the way to a full load at multi-kW power levels. Additionally, the converter’s BCM VI Chip package is compatible with standard pick-and-place and surface-mount assembly processes.

Price for the VIB0002TFJ is less than $35 each in OEM quantities.
