Operating across a frequency range from 100 MHz to 6 GHz, the RedBox amplifier, model CRBAMP-100-6000, targets applications such as IF or RF buffer amplifiers, base stations, high-reliability designs, and general lab use for in-house testing. Residing in a custom aluminum enclosure measuring 1.25" x 1.25" x 0.59" with three SMA connectors for input, output, and the power supply input, the unit operates from a single 5V supply consuming 60 mA. The amplifier delivers a small signal gain of 18 dB with an output power of 17 dBm (P1dB). Other features include a typical noise figure of 3.5 dB with an IP3 of +30 dBm.
