Anritsu is now offering a WCDMA/HSDPA Modulation Quality Measurements option for its MS2781A Signature high-performance signal analyzer. It’s targeted at developers of digital mobile-radio base stations and the related subsystems.

The new option is part of the 3.0 version software enhancements to the Signature signal analyzer. Amplitude accuracy is better than 0.65 dB, intermodulation distortion (TOI) is +27 dBm, and displayed average noise level (DANL) is better than –157 dBm with 0.1 Hz BW. Demodulation bandwidth of up to 50 MHz supports capture and analysis of wideband digital modulation.

With the WCDMA/HSDPA option installed, Signature supports Third-Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) measurement. The MS2781A runs on an open Microsoft Windows environment. Designers of software defined radios or radios with new or unique modulation techniques can view live measurement results post-processed by MATLAB.

AVAILABILITY
The MS2781A Option 30 WCDMA/HSDPA Modulation Quality Measurements is shipping now with an eight- to 10-week lead time.

PRICING
The MS2781A Option 30 WCDMA/HSDPA Modulation Quality Measurements costs $9600.
