Claimed as the first instrument of its kind under $10K, the p1411A wireless vector signal generator includes an exclusive spectrum analyzer display along with an IQ waveform generator and is available in bench-top or ATE configurations. User-created IQ waveforms can generate other signal types, specify data content, or create worst-case scenarios for development and test of RFICs, sub-assemblies, or completed products. The 7" TFT display continuously shows the instrument’s output without the use of an external spectrum analyzer, ensuring constant visibility of the source’s output. The instrument may also beoperated from web applications. Bench-top and ATE configurations are interchangeable, resulting in software re-use and cross-development between applications. Price is $9,990. PRECISIONWAVE CORP, Colorado Springs, CO. (866) 386-6798.
