Hyundai endorses ESC

Hyundai Motor America (www.hmausa.com) said it expects to sell more than 350,000 electronic stability control (ESC)-equipped vehicles in the 2007 model year.

Hyundai Motor America said it expects to sell more than 350,000 electronic stability control (ESC)-equipped vehicles in the 2007 model year. The technology is standard equipment on the Sonata, Tucson, Santa Fe, Entourage and Azera. John Krafcik, vice president of product development and strategic planning, said that 70% of Hyundai sales volume in the 2007 model year will be comprised of vehicles with standard ESC.
