Magellan offers RoadMate PNDs for auto and outdoor use

Magellan Navigation, Inc. (www.magellanGPS.com) has introduced the RoadMate 2000 series portable vehicle navigation devices, consisting of the RoadMate 2000, 2200T, and 2500T.

Magellan Navigation Inc. has introduced the RoadMate 2000 series portable vehicle navigation devices, consisting of the RoadMate 2000, 2200T and 2500T.

The 2500T is a IPX4 (splash-proof) crossover GPS device for use when driving or on foot. Priced less than $500, the 2200T is an IPX4 car navigation device that can be upgraded for outdoor navigation and real-time traffic. The 2000 is a pocket-sized car navigation device priced less than $400.

All three devices measure 3.4 x 4.3 x 1.1-inches and offer a 3.5-inch color touch-screen display for 3-D map images, plus an integrated battery and antenna. All three provide voice and visual turn-by-turn guidance.
