Sirius Satellite Radio (www.sirius.com) plans to base its forthcoming rear-seat satellite video offering on Nexperia PNX9520 multimedia processors from NXP Semiconductors (www.nxp.com) in a system from Delphi (www.delphi.com).

SIRIUS Backseat TV, planned for launch later this year on 2008 model Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles, will deliver children’s TV channels including Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network.
