Spansion 128 Mb SPI flash device features 104 MHz performance

Spansion Inc. (www.spansion.com) has introduced the S25FL128P, a 128Mb flash memory device with a serial peripheral interface (SPI) and 104MHz read speed performance.

Spansion Inc. has introduced the S25FL128P, a 128 Mb flash memory device with a serial peripheral interface (SPI) and 104 MHz read speed performance. Produced on 90 nm 2-bit per-cell MirrorBit technology, the device can be used for automotive applications among others, according to the company. It’s available in 16-pin SOIC or WSON 6 x 8 packages with EU RoHS compliance and the option of standard materials. It’s also backward-compatible with 16 Mb to 64 Mb devices.
