Sporting a compact footprint in a FBGA package mounted on a 200-pin SO-DIMM FR4 substrate, the W3HG64M64EEU-D4 512-MB DDR2 SDRAM is a viable candidate for use in laptops, PCs with Mini-ITX motherboards, and upgradeable office printers. It is essentially a 64M x 64 DDR2 SDRAM module based on 512-Mb DDR2 SDRAM components and is said to be the first to support high-speed DDR2 notebook platforms. The module touts 200-pin SO-DIMM Raw Card B, which provides data-transfer rates of PC2-6400, PC2-5300, PC2-4200, and PC2-3200. Other features include a differential data strobe option, multiple internal device banks for concurrent operation, and support for duplicate-output strobe. Price is $68 each/1,000.
