Targeting graphics display applications, the FMS9884A-175A a/d converterÕs architecture optimizes and encodes the analog RGB signal prior to formatting for display. Sampling at 17 Msamples/s, the device converts images up to SXGA at 65 Hz or at 85 Hz using alternate pixel sampling.Features include an adaptive PLL, on-board voltage reference, single- or dual-port digital outputs, input clamps, and programmable, variable-gain amplifiers.
