Attaching to 0201, 0402, 0603, or 0805 passive, surface-mount components, the MicroClip creates both new and additional probe points on any existing printed-circuit board. Users can choose from 13 distinct cable assemblies to accommodate various test instruments. The clips form a hands-free probing system when paired with the company's MicroGrippers and allow probing even if test points or breakout pins are unavailable. Other features and benefits include spring-tensioned pointed conductors that firmly grip soldered terminals, simplified supply monitoring, and reduced debug and analysis times.
