The 6U CompactPCI Puma-CR single-board computer (SBC) saw its price slashed due to the elimination of PICMG 2.16 support, which is typically used in larger multiprocessing systems. A 733-MHz 750FX PowerPC processor powers the Puma-CR, which retains two Gigabit Ethernet and RS-232 front panels with ports. It has two PMC slots and supports up to 256 Mbytes of RAM. Prices start at less than $2000.
