Connectors Conform To SSFDC Forum Proposals

Nov. 1, 1998

Conforming to the SSFDC forum proposal for SmartMedia miniature storage media, MCR102 series of thin SmartMedia SMT connectors comes in three types: a 3.3Vcard type, a 5V type, and a combined 3.3V and 5V type. A mechanism prevents insertion of the wrong type of voltage card. These low-profile SMT connectors are 40 mm long x 38.5 mm wide x 3 mm high (excluding the card insertion slot). The covers are designed to make connection with the ground of the board. Insertion and withdrawal life is 10,000 cycles.
